Meh, you should really interview at least 5 guys before you decide. I guess the big issue is they have a gm going out the door and the owner is taking this all head on so he obviously wants a proven winner.

I'd probably prefer jvg because he wont wear out his players.

 

kinda funny thibs was on JVG's coaching staff in 03-04 for the rockets, now they are competing for the HC position. haha

 

Dave joerger should just quit his job now in the playoffs to be considered again.

 

i guess thibs got interviewed over the weekend, and they expect a decision "sooner rather than later"

 

Rockets need to get swept (likely) before they lose out interviewing Thibs, JVG, Walton and co.

 

What a strange position to be in as a sports franchise. Lol. Poor Rockets.

 

I'm hoping tonight's games are a little more competitive than last night's games, but with Houston/Golden State and Dallas/OKlahoma City as two of the three games I'd say that's unlikely.

The Indiana/Toronto game should be pretty good though! I know it's only game 2 of the series, but to me it has the feel of a must-win for Toronto. If they go down 2-0 and then have to go on the road, I really don't like their chances. I still think that Toronto wins the series, but five hours from now that may have changed.

I hope the Houston game isn't entertaining in the sense it's close but entertaining in the sense that it's a murder at the hands of Steph & Co.
