I don't get his point. Is he saying that no one deserves to be on due to their performance or he thinks they all did steroids so it's void. Either way he's an idiot.

I wonder what kind of contracts Chris Carter and Mark Trumbo would've gotten 10-20 years ago.

Well if you add the fact that these guys would probably use roids too, so their numbers might be even more inflated, it could be anywhere to like, Richie Sexson type contracts, or even crazier with like a Jason giambi contract

I still stick by my estimate. That was a lot back then.

I really don't understand any of these trades the M's are making. They all are basically washes

It's that time of year where I start getting frustrated about Hall of Fame voting. Has anyone gotten more screwed than Fred McGriff?

I want Mike Mussina in more than anything, aside from Bonds/Clemens.

Obviously he's only recently become eligible, but I'd like to see Vlad get in one year. Aside from the bias that we're both dominican and share the same first name, the dude was an incredible batter

Read (well, listened) to both Ahead of the Curve by Brian Kenny and The Arm by Jeff Passan so far this week.

Ahead of the Curve was good. I enjoyed listening to Brian Kenny's stories and how he came to be where he is now with MLB Network and his conversations with Bill James and whatnot, but the book was not particularly illuminating in regards to sabermetrics. It was all stuff I was aware of. It might be a good introduction for those who aren't privy to sabermetrics/advanced stats.

The Arm was excellent. Extremely well done and illuminating regarding pitcher's arms, Tommy John surgery, youth baseball's abuse of kids arms, Daniel Hudson & Todd Coffey trying to fight back from two Tommy John surgeries each, and even more I can't remember right now. It was fantastically done.

I'm struggling to listen to the arm. The topic is interesting but I think it is better suited for a book as opposed to audio form.

I would vote for well over 10 guys on that ballot, but I'm a "big hall" guy.

The narration definitely isn't as good as I'd like it to be, but I didn't have too many issues with it. I agree that it would be a better read.
