Ha! Nah, our seats are first base side. ;)

I was 16 when I went to the Bartman game. And I remember that whole experience so vividly. We were on the complete opposite side of the stadium, but someone in our section stormed off proclaiming he was going to find the guy that interfered with the foul ball and "kill him." And never returned, so I always assumed he tried to get over to that side.

The whole stadium just felt like the air got sucked out. It was unreal how quickly 40,000 people can go from "we are going to the World Series!" to "We are cursed. It is over." I mean, we were winning. But it never felt like we were head again that game.

As for Bartman, he would never show up to wrigley. I don't blame him. Cubs fans ruined that man's life. The whole damn city lost its mind. We don't deserve to be forgiven for that.

Truly one of the sad moments in sports. That incident, the Browns bottlegate, the Bertuzzi assault, and the Pistons/Pacers brawl are some of the moments I look back on and helped shape the type of fan and competitor I want to be.

My sister's ex-husband was roommates with Bartman at Notre Dame. And Bartman lived in the town my girlfriend is from. Her father had squad cars posted outside his house after Game 6 in 2003.

I truly wish the guy the best and hope he's living as good as a life as he can live. He never deserved any of what happened and it's one of my worst memories about the Cubs and fandom in general.

Even as a 10 year old, I knew Bartman was not culpable. Every fan there was reaching in. Moreover, much more blame should be put on both Dusty Baker for letting Prior go for so long and Alex Gonzalez for booting what should have been an easy double play right after the Bartman incident.

Those were some of the most emotional days in my life. Watching the Cubs lose Game 7, then the Red Sox losing Game 7 the next night, I cried so much. That was back when I felt a sort of kinship with the Red Sox due to our respective championship droughts, plus having family in the Boston area. I was so invested in both teams.

I'm really curious to how Roberts is going to manage the bullpen for the next two games if they can extend it seven.

Kershaw could hopefully go seven innings and than you can throw Jansen out there for two innings.

If Dodgers win game 6, I wonder if they will go back to Kershaw again to close the series after Hill pitches and go Hill - Jansen - Kershaw.

We already know he most likely won't pitch game 1/2 of World Series but it's going to stink having Maeda and Urias again just because I don't think they can handle that much pressure.

Hopefully their offense shows up so there is no need to use Jansen.

Also, who else wanted to knock out Buck when Rizzo had that foul ball bounce out of his glove into the stands and he was all "uh oh, is this Bartman all over again?" Forget what game it was, but you know he was just drooling for any chance to start shit lol.

Did anyone pick up on Earnie Johnson talking about Jason Kipnis and Steve Bartman growing up on the same street in Chicago during the ALCS? Johnson said 'nothing more to the story than that, but it's interesting nonetheless." And it is.

    Kind of wild.

There was an article in the Trib last week with Buck talking about how he knows everyone views him as an asshole, and then he goes and says dumb shit like that to not help his cause whatsoever.

Also on the Bartman note, I was 10 when it happened but really remember being more sad that we lost a 3-1 series lead and ridicule from Sox fans than anything else. Then cork happened, missing the 04' playoffs, and Bartman was just in for. Poor guy, I can't imagine what it would have been like with social media.

Is the Bartman documentary a ESPN one on netflix or somewhere else?

I'd love to watch it since it's a bit hazy to me on the aftermath of it.

I'd guess it's either there or on watch ESPN. Heck, YouTube might have it.

I think it is on Netflix, or at least, used to be. They also still play it from time to time on any one of the ESPN networks, AND if the Cubs go to the World Series, I wouldn't be surprised if they air it a bunch of times in the coming weeks.

It's called Catching Hell. And it's unbelievably good.

The NBA/Cavs just changed their opening night tip-off time from 8 p.m. to now 7:30 p.m. (ring ceremony at 7 p.m.) which is so unbelievably HUGE for me. Now I can get to WS Game 1 well in time for first pitch.
