Figures the cubs bats would fall completely flat this series. With the exception of one inning.

Cubs go 1 2 3 in 10 of the last 14 innings? So bad.

Cubs vaunted offense gets to the playoffs, is broke as fuck again. Hate feeling like this could become a yearly deal, but they are the Cubs of course

No. Normally the Cubs don't make it because they were a garbage organization who rarely fielded a competitive team.

Must win for the Cubbies. Can't go down 3-1 and then have Kershaw looming (whether he's Game 5 or Game 6). It's over at that point.

TBS having Jimmy Rollins and Pedro Martinez basically makes up for Harold Reynolds.

Fox Sports 1 having Alex Rodriguez makes up from Pete Rose and the other dude.

    also pop that champagne Cleveland.

Hell yeah Tribe! The Monsters, the Cavs, and now the Tribe making it to the series! It's been a good sports year minus the debacle that are the Browns.

Yeah, leave Lucroy alone. That was so long ago at this point. He made a choice beyond just a winning team. And we are doing just fine. Roberto is calling awesome games right now.

Bats are coooooooooooold. Absolute wrong time of the year to not be performing as well as we know we can. I still think we're the best team in baseball, but the playoffs are a different beast. Luckily, there's still games left to play and I'm hopeful that the bats awaken.

It's been tough to watch Russell struggle as much as he has, same for Rizzo. Nearly everyone but Bryant. But I have nothing but hope for this team and the players themselves have not given up.

Also, as much as I'd like to experience glory for once in my life, I'm not of the mindset that the only way to have successful season is one that ends in a World Series championship. If the Cubs lose in the NLCS, it doesn't detract anything from the regular season and how much fun it was to watch this team win 103 ball games.
