Also Hendricks looks really upset.

No clue, it's been the entire season. It's either a grounder to second or a pop out.

 

To be fair that was a really odd play. I thought Baez caught that. You could tell everyone on that play was confused but Baez. Russell wasn't sure what to do at first either.

even if something bad happens, I'm happy with the results of this game because Kershaw pitched a gem.

AND Roberts pulled him before it could be bad.

Dodgers won the Kershaw game. Obviously super important

 

Great pitching by the Dodgers, nevertheless it's unacceptable for this lineup to get shut out. Russell and Heyward need to sit the next game. Win the next two cause Game 5 doesn't look good

 

I actually feel bad for Heyward for how much he has been trash talked by fox sports panel through both series so far.

 

Heyward is abysmal, but they should talk about Rizzo and Russell as well, who are 2-for-fuckin-45 in the postseason. Like, that's impossibly bad. I don't even know how the Cubs are supposed to win with such pathetic production from those guys

 

Praying to God that the good Trevor Bauer shows up tonight in Toronto. Never know with this guy...

 

Has a negative oWAR this year. It's justifiably seeing as all his hitting stats this year have been sub replacement hitter. The only thing he has going for him is he's a good fielder.

 

It's hard for me to feel bad for people when they make 20 mil and up a year. I don't feel bad for any criticism aimed at Jacoby Ellsbury lol. Yeah, it's not their fault someone gave them all that money. But expectations come with the territory.

 

Money has nothing to do with it. It's one thing to hound on a player whose not hitting is not great during a certain period because there are so many peaks and valleys over a season. But when your whole season has been a valley it is something truly to be critiqued and makes you wonder.
