I forget what site had it (I think ESPN), but there was a montage of last night's highlights set to "Get Right." Made me so happy I almost passed out.

Any chance Kershaw is available out of the bullpen tomorrow night? I love when starters flex out of the bullpen in elimination games.

from what I've read it will most likely be Hill for a few innings, Urias for a few followed by Blanton/Jansen to close it out.

honestly, i'm pretty split. either one is fine, i guess. i think i'm learning a bit more towards wanting to face the Nats so we can get revenge against Murphy, plus we did better against them this year (5-2 record vs 4-3, so it's basically a push)

also i'm sick of these late late late late west coast games.

also i don't think we do too well against lefties and it seems like the dodgers have 500 left-handed pitchers

Dusty murdered Kerry Wood, Mark Prior and mismanaged the 2003 NLCS. As for Daniel Murphy, he fucked everyone up last year. Hit bombs like every single game

I cannot fathom a pitcher in 2016 throwing 141 pitches in 7 innings like Kerry Wood did in 2003.

I had to look at game logs for David Cone cause he talks on YES a lot about how many pitches he threw back in the day. His high for 1992 was 166. And through this point it looked like about 8 or so games above 140 at that point in his career.

So glad I found it. I watched... a lot of highlight videos last night.

And I wanna play LA. The West coast has been real good to us this year, and I'm still bitter from a few years back.

It's probably a good thing pitch counts aren't listed for most of Nolan Ryan's career, holy shit lol. In 1989 he had a streak of four starts where he threw 147, 146, 150 and 164. Interesting stuff. Imagine how many pitches he threw the year he had 332 innings? Damn.

    BOO

@ChiliTacos I guess the Nats. I really don't like the Dodgers. I'm not as picky as I was when it was Mets or Giants, though. And pretty much what @Zoshchenko said, although I thought I read we did okay vs lefties, but I don't really know. I trust 'em.

Pretty excited to hear that Dillon Tate was throwing 94-97 in the first Arizona Fall League game since it seems his loss of velocity was a big reason the Yankees got him for Beltran.

After I said it, I went and looked at some numbers and was pleasantly surprised at how we did vs lefties. That's what I get for commenting without researching first haha

I mostly just don't want anymore west coast games :verysad: games too laaaaaaaate
