Snitker was the obvious hire. What he did with the team in the second half of the year, considering the roster, is pretty remarkable.

The Braves went 59-65 (.476) under Snitker, including 37-35 (.514) in the second half, after going 9-28 (.243) under Gonzalez.

  2. Glad they're giving Snit a shot. Would have genuinely been a little shocked if they didn't after the last month and a half or so he had.

Any idea when they'll release times for the ALCS games? I have so many conflicts and it's killing me.

Correct. If I had to guess, Saturday's game will be at 4 p.m. because it's same day as NLCS Game 1, so I'd assume that'd get primetime slot. I'm in a wedding on Saturday and we were hoping to stream the game, but the actual ceremony is at 3:30, then we have to go do photos and then ceremony so i'd miss out on most of the game.

There's no NLCS game on Monday, so I'd assume ALCS Game 3 would be 8 p.m. then no idea what times for Game 4 and 5 because those are same days as NLCS games 3 and 4.

It must be tough to be Roberts in this situation.

I think my answer would have been start Urias and hope he gives 5 good innings and rely on the bullpen.

but they can't afford to not let Kershaw pitch especially even if he will only be pitching on 3 days rest.

Def could've used more runs there but I'll take the 27 pitches.

I had my phone off until right now but I love Kershaw and finally someone other than seager and turner scores.

Happier we don't have to sit thru Baez than getting that run.
