As an Indians fan, I'm long over his decision. It really had no effect on our team whatsoever and Roberto Perez has really come on strong in September and in the playoffs so it's water under the bridge.

As for Cleveland not doing anything yet, yes the series isn't over and Boston still has a chance, but let's be honest, NO ONE outside of Cleveland expected Indians to be up 2-0. That's 2 more games than the Rangers won and they were best team in AL with home field advantage.

By the way, living in Cleveland is great!

 

Verlander is such a dickhole.

 

You're right I definitely didn't expect CLE to be up 2-0, but I also didn't expect us to not win a game. We just didn't get it done when it mattered most, not to mention we've always played terribly against TOR. Oh well you win some you lose some.

Looking forward to see what JD does this offseason

Worst part of the postseason is not having the regular announcers. I miss Len Kasper and Jim Deshaies real bad

Maeda has definitely gotten some bad calls today

 

It feels like all three dodgers have lost command of there pitches this series early on.

 

Wish I felt comfortable with Gio having a 3 run lead but he likes to immediately give those up

 

I would say undoubtedly the worst part of postseason baseball is the scheduling. To have playoff games in the middle of the day on a work/school day is absolutely ridiculous. On Friday there was a 1 p.m. game, if Indians and Cubs both lose today, the Indians will play at 2 p.m. tomorrow. Why not just do what the NBA does and have several games go on at once on different channels? The answer can't be because they want to maximize TV dollars because I can assure you not a lot of people will be watching at 1 p.m. on a Friday or 2 p.m. on a Tuesday.

I believe even some ALCS/NLCS games are at 4 p.m. That's still pretty ridiculous.

seeing this makes me realize why they want cubs/Giants in prime time but it still sucks for the other series to be relegated to awful start times.

It feels like the strike zone in this series has been super inconsistent.
