Part of me wishes I could go to those games. Part of me also doesn't like crying in public.

It will be a sad weekend, for sure.... He will be missed. Like Pedro, he won't go far.

I've convinced myself the Braves will win the World Series in 2017.

Curious of your guys opinion on this concerning the ending of the Cardinals-Reds game and if a ground rule double was called and still being a walk-off.

So there were two outs when Yadiar was at the plate. Carpenter is running on first contact no matter what. It was obvious that the ball was hit out of the LFs reach and was going for extra bases. My question is if Carpenter is already past second when the ball does go out of play does he get two bases off of his current position or where he started?

I wish there was a camera angle that showed the whole field to try and see this.

Wow, do I hate his AL MVP and Cy Young Awards. He picks Trout from the awful Angels over Mookie from a first place team cause on base percentage? I hope that's not one of the two awards he got an actual vote for.

Agreed. Trout's getting taken for granted and if he's the best player he's the best player, I don't care how bad his team is.

  13. Boston people...

How is parking around Fenway? I mean both availability and pricing.

Atrocious. I'd park at Sullivan Square or another equally suburban T station and take the T

  15. Fairly available especially if you expand like .5 mile. Very expensive. We used to park at Lechmere and ride to Kenmore

  16. Hmm okay I'm going with four people so I expect it'll be cheap to split over the train which the hotel receptionist told me was $12/person? My hotel is near Salem so I'm assuming it'll be less of a headache to get home with a car overall though.

If I was in Salem I'd drive to Wellington and take the T. 2 bucks a person each way.

i'm down for Trout and Britton. I see what he's saying about the AL cy award. None of the starters really stand out at all, so why not give it to the lights out closer, who's a borderline MVP for his team. I'm into it.

NL Cy is really hard and I'm continuing my push for Murph as NL MVP, but obviously understand why people prefer Bryant.

Dustin Pedroia just got his 200th hit and he's probably the 4th in line for MVP votes on this team. This offense is bananas.

Trout is a true 5 tool player and his statistics prove it. This isn't an OBP thing.

Trout is hands down the best player in baseball. can't fault a guy for getting drafted by the worst organization in baseball.
