Kershaw back so the Dodgers can't score at all.

    It's back to normal.

Tigers just won't die. 6 of their last 7 wins came with them taking the lead in the Bottom of the 8th or later. As an Indians fan, this is frustrating.

Umpiring crew fucking up this Yankees game. First rain delay put the tarp on for like 4 minutes of rain and now Betances is gonna be done after one out.

Also assuming they can finish this game off it must be a record for number of pitchers used in a 6 game winning streak.

I was shocked to see him pulled. He was absolutely on fire tonight. That curve buckled my knees a few times.

I get the decision. October is more important than two more innings and Hill is so injury prone. But damn, would've been cool.

yeah I feel the same way.

As a Dodgers fan, we need him going down the stretch just in case Kershaw isn't still 100% but I wanted so badly to see a perfect game.

I was just yesterday listening to Vin's call on Sandy Koufax perfect game and this had me all excited even if vin wasn't calling.

David Cone's perfect game in '99 for the Yanks one hundred percent wouldn't have happened if they managed then like they do now. Those damn pitch counts lol.

the bromance between these two is amazing.

also Puig coming back has been the best. I hope he isn't traded in the offseason.

I think you can also point to that as a reason to question their sustainability in this competitive race. Sure, it is huge when your team can win in a comeback fashion, but when 6 of your last 7 wins are like that, why are you always coming from behind?

The Tigers led some of those games and gave up the lead later in the game, only to run into some clutch hitting to pull the game out. It's not a recipe for long term success.

It has been way exciting, though. I love how well the Tigers have come together. Honestly, take away their record vs. the Indians... hell, just give them maybe like 4 wins against the Indians, the entire season would look a hell of a lot different for both teams right now.

Yeah, I posted that a few nights back...I'd say now it'd be VERY, VERY difficult for Tigers to overcome Indians. They'd obviously have to beat them all 7 times or at the very least 6 out of 7 times. To be honest with you, the Indians will likely have the Central wrapped up officially before that final Tigers series in Detroit. Magic Number for Indians is 14.

That said, the Indians starting rotation is crumbling in front of our very own eyes, with the exception of Kluber.

  23. This sox team is one of my favorite teams of all time, so insanely likable. Very few hateable players and they have so much fun. They're also really good at baseball. In 20 years people will look back and be amazed that there was a year when Xander, Betts, Benintendi, and Bradley played with Ortiz

    The rivalry is back on

Idk if I'd go that far. I'm pretty sure Ortiz, Hanley, and Pedroia are among the more polarizing MLB players in the game right now
