Packing up my hope of a Yankees wild card. Between the A-Rod circus and they're in the race/they're out of the race, I just feel so burned out on this season.

 

Seemed a safe assumption that the Tribe, going up against Jose Fernandez, were done for after Bauer gave up three in the first inning.

Fortunately baseball can be stupid in beneficial ways

Very happy for JHey. They weren't 105+ MPH hits or anything, but they got the job done and seems to be indicative of recent signs that he's improving at the plate.

I'm not sure how I'm just seeing the MLB Playoff schedule but I have so many conflicts with potential Indians playoff dates...ugh. Work meetings, rehearsal dinners, multiple weddings.

Pretty much all of October is set aside for Cubs playoffs for me. Thankfully my birthday is in October, so that's a nice excuse to play the "it's my birthday" card in regards to plans, which will be watching playoff baseball.

 

Yup. God damn it's gonna be such a fun month. I hope my apartment doesn't get burned down if they win.

It's one of my best friends weddings on the 15th...which would be Game 2 of the ALCS...and for whatever reason, they're doing their rehearsal on the 12th (and not the night before like most people) which would be Game 5 of the ALDS (which I'd likely have tickets to - should Indians host). I'm in the wedding so absolutely cannot skip anything.

I have another wedding on Oct. 22 which would be Game 7 of the ALCS...Wouldn't mind losing a friend over that one :)
