Rendon has been so hot lately.

 

The hitters are alleviating my disappointment in Severino a bit at least lol.

 

He's been terrible other than his strikeout ability. If we weren't so thin in SP he'd be in the minors.

He'll still end up in the minors for a week or so to get ready for a return, idk if they can make the playoffs with all their injuries. I'd just tell him to get ready for next year and not risk anything.

 

and Conley was put on the DL too. I mean i'm a mets fan so i'm not gonna start feeling bad for anyone's injury woes haha

 

I want Michael Fulmer to win ROTY and Cy Young and MVP and World Series MVP. Bet he gets at least two of them.

I'm an Indians fan and don't even get excited by this. This was all in Class A...like, why is he not being promoted to Double A by now? Kind of weird to think about. A guy hitting in 50 straight games and hasn't been promoted?

 

He's having a breakout season this year. Hes only 20, no need to rush. A lot of guys take their time in high A for some reason, I cant explain it but there's organizational thought behind it.

 

Why do the Cubs insist on playing Heyward daily? He's so bad - they'd get better production from Soler. That contract looks so bad right now

 

His defense is fantastic and everlasting hope that he'll get back to form offensively (probably not rookie year form, but at least 100 OPS+ form). Soler, as much as I like him, is incredibly streaky and a liability in the field.

I have a feeling the contract won't look as bad in a year.

 

Watching Matz pitch yesterday was beautiful. The fact that the Mets are SOMEHOW still in this post season race still blows my mind.
