I almost expect the Tigers to swoop in and trade any remaining assets left for Lucroy

Indians need him so bad. Just when I thought it couldn't get worse than Yan Gomes (offensively) his replacement Roberto Perez is hitting UNDER .040. Unbelievable.

What are the Royals doing? How did they not see this coming? It's not like Kennedy has pitched any worse than would be expected, and now it (might) cost them Davis to drop the contract.

Tbh...I think that was a half-hearted attempt at a joke. Either way, confusing.

Depends solely on who they give up in return for it. Dodgers got plenty of money so it all depends on who they give up.

As a Tigers fan, what really could you expect from them? I think they're one of the toughest teams to gauge right now. It's a team clearly nearing rebuild point, but the team also has a lot of really good talent. I don't know, I don't think they have a ton of upper potential prospects aside from the ones they have acquired via trade last year.

I read a stat about how they've been pretty dominant the past 60 or so games, and that if they could replace Sanchez with a serviceable starter, they'd be really well off. He's like 3-11 or something unreal bad.

They've been good lately, without a doubt. If we're going for it this year, I don't blame them, but I don't think they need to be going after a star catcher when the back end of the rotation is a complete dumpster fire with Pelfrey & Sanchez. We also are banking on Zimmerman coming back and being dominant as well.

I completely agree on this. I think the team should focus on picking up another SP that can help them. I'm not looking for an all star, just a guy that can be reliable. Find me another Fister! Matt Boyd has turned it around a little bit and that's really good to see. I just hate that they're so heavily reliant on guys coming back from injury. This entire season has been an "IF" game. If VMart can bounce back... if Sanchez can bounce back (Lololololol)... if one of Norris / Boyd / Fulmer can step up and take a rotation spot... if Greene returns to NY form. The list goes on.

IMO, The Tigers are contenders for a playoff spot with or without a move, so long as the team gets healthy. If I'm a gambling man, I don't put money on them making the playoffs right now. I don't think acquiring one player changes that on this year's trade market. I understand the reason why they'd get Lucroy, though. They are in win-now mode, and he'd be a boost for the offense. I'd prefer to land a good pitcher, but if nothing is worth the asking price, I hold off.

    Great Googly Moogly Prestigious

i never bash Collins but how you have Familia pitch 3 days in a row, especially with that 3rd day being 18 hours after his first blown save of the year.... i mean jesus. ESPECIALLY when he says "familia isn't available today"...you look desperate.

this is JUST like last year hahaha a day game during the week before the trade deadline.

    sad.

oh it's not all on collins...bases loaded 0 outs = no runs... i mean, that says it all

FUCKIN SAVAGES IN THAT FUCKIN BOX Prestigious

I've really had it with Aaron Hicks in right field. When Aaron Judge is healthy from his minor knee injury in the next few days, the Yankees really need to tell A-Rod to get lost, bench Hicks and see if Beltran at DH and Judge in RF scores some runs. Their pitching isn't going to keep this up for long where they can win with 3 runs.

So Dee Gordon's video apology was actually one of the better things I've seen in regards to a player being suspended
