I'm at the hall of fame this weekend, and can confirm if done correctly collared jerseys look dope. This was not done well as a throwback.

 

I didn't know players cared that much about the different jerseys. Especially enough to destroy them like he did lol

I'm going to the Grizzlies game today since everyone said Bregman would play this last weekend series. They just announced he got called up and starting tomorrow. I'm so sad.

It's still cool I get to see Rodgers pitch since I haven't seen him yet or Musgrove.

Chapman to Cubs for Gleyber Torres + is close

 

I was iffy/veryveryagainst about (potentially) getting Chapman when Schwarber and others were the talk, but I'm liking this if it goes through. Russell is going to be SS for a long time, Torres isn't proven (but will probably be great), and having a Strop/Rondon/Chapman pen for the 7th-9th inning sounds pretty nice. And the good lefties we have now.

I know a lot of people were complaining about Chapman being a rental, but if Theo (God) gets an extension out of him, I think it works out very, very well.

 

What about his personal issues though?

 

Torres is awesome, that's a great start for a one year rental. I'm guessing he might have to switch to 2nd or of at some point if Mateo succeeds didi but you cant pass up talent.
