I read somewhere the Astros have done it before, but the whole pitcher/left switch was wild to see. And then the switch back!

 

I wanted someone to fly to Strop so bad. You know he was gonna dive even if it was right at him.

 

Strop was a short stop, so he can definitely field. Would've been awesome to see him get something.

Finally got around to watching Bryant's highlights from Monday. Holy crap. 1st play ever to hit 2 doubles and 3 home runs in the same game. And his 2nd double was a classic hustle play of stretching a single into a double. Absolutely love his ethic, along with resisting the road curtain call lol.

 

I didn't like seeing Hamilton get hurt, but an inside-the-park HR was pretty cool.

Well that was godawful.

 

Giants will forfeit the DH tomorrow for Madison Bumgarner against the A's. It's the first time since 1976 that a manager is intentionally giving up the DH.

The last time a team unintentionally gave up the DH was in 2009, when Joe Maddon screwed up the lineup card and put both Evan Longoria and Ben Zobrist at 3B.

 

The Giants letting Bumgarner hit tomorrow is so cool

 

this season has turned to shit. DONT BE BUYERS mets!! I'm not saying be sellers either, but don't chase the ring this year. It's pretty clear the baseball gods are saying "2016...not your year".

 

Braves are sending Ozzie Albies down from Gwinnett to AA Mississippi becuase they want him and Dansby Swanson to start playing together regularly and didn't want to rush Swanson up to AAA.

Albies will be playing 2B and Swanson SS. I can't wait for them to be ready for the big club.

Yeah...Buffalo TV didn't have YES or Sportsnet until I was a teenager so I grew up with most of my baseball exposure being seeing the Braves like every single day on TBS.
