I still remember being young and watching Kerry Wood that day. I feel like that was one of those performances that you know where you were when it happened.

 

I wasn't yet even 5 years old, but I've probably watched the highlights for that game 15+ times. Kerry Wood was one of my favorite players growing up.

True. But still, dude is batting .176. Absolutely a rally killer in that spot.

 

Matt Kemp looked like he was in for an absolutely devastating injury trying to catch that ball in the right field bullpen.

 

I'm not sure if it's just the south but for the hunters here you can pay to hunt on a plantation (it's expensive as shit). The owner's son lets me and my dad go for free every year because we went to school together. We were hunting quail which are duds because they are ground raised. You could shoot blind and hit a quail and this motherfucker didn't hit a damn thing. He was making excuses and we made our way back to the lodge to shoot clay pigeons..he couldn't hit those either. We tried to help him shoot but he wasn't having it. I tried and he said that he didn't want a b**** helping him. He broke alot of stuff and we were all sober. He also kinda kicked one of our bird dogs. It wasn't like a straight up kick but enough for the dog to yelp.

 

Not going to lie, that's pretty much how I'd picture any situation with John Rocker to be like. What a dumpster fire of a human being.

 

Thank you! Off topic but I worked on a hunting preserve for 4 years in PA so I'm familiar with the activity. But i didn't encounter any Rocker types. Just privileged good old boys. But yeah, that sounds like a common Rocker interaction.

 

That's the 1st time I was called the B word to my face. My dad went after him but my dad's friend held him back bc they didn't want him to get sued or the plantation to get sued lol he thought that shit was ok. Beyond a garbage human being.

Good old boys rarely, if ever, disrespect a woman. It's unbelievable..he should be a villain in a comic book heh

Syndergaard with two home runs tonight. Man, I love this team. It's impossible to predict what's going to happen on a nightly basis with this team. Their announcers - Gary Cohen and Ron Darling were right, it was only a matter of time before their pitchers (who are great athletes) started hitting. The Mets' pitchers have three home runs in their last five games, the Braves have only five more all season. HA
