Per Isles beat writer, the Isles are interested in JvR and the asking price is 19OA + player/prospect (the quality of whom wasn't specified).

I'm gonna be so goddamn sad if that happens.

 

all the sharks need to do this offseason is let every UFA go and let the baby sharks play and they could be good

I tried to keep this as realistic as possible. I do not think that Stamkos or Okposo are coming here.

This will change as the offseason goes on most likely. But this is where I currently stand.

That lineup puts us around ~56 million (not including the trade or scratches or Savard's contract). so we'd still have plenty of wiggle room.

 

You are off the Demers hype train?

 

I love Demers more than Goli actually, but looking at it more, the Devils are in need of LHD way more than RHD. They should be set on the right side with Larsson and Severson. Plus, Shero has the obvious connection to Goli

if Demers could play the left side, I think I'd prefer him. though, Goli's ability to play on the PP also helps

I think the Flyers rush to the podium if Jones is still there at 18, imo.

 

the beat writer said Barzal is likely to make the team next year but the Islanders are willing to deal MDC.

 

I can see Barzal making that team. Didn't he play a few games this season? Don't know anything about MDC though.
What's happened with Ho-Sang? Has he matured or is he still a piece of shit like Drouin was?

 

It'd have be Barzal or Pulock, preferably Pulock, for me to not hate it. Anyone else is a hard pass. Edit: Or maybe that Sorokin kid. We need some more goalies in the system.

 

Yeah. I remember them mentioning they have high hopes for Barzal. I can't really talk about Ho-Sang or MDC but I remember MDC has been disappointing since they drafted him.

 

@xbrokendownx you forgetting Blandisi or are you thinking he gets traded?

 

Carlyle... Very interesting. His relationship with Getzlaf wasn't the greatest near the end of his time in Anaheim.
