I mean they couldn't have afforded to lose him but man that is a lot for him, IMO.

 

Leafs sign Peter Holland to one-year, one-way deal, $1.3 million contract before arbitration...

Which, fine. I think he was looking for $2.1m and the Leafs were offering $925k.

We have confirmed David Rundblad NOT bought out by #Blackhawks. Sides mutually terminated contract. Rundblad thus $0 on Hawks cap this year.

I saw a red wings fan compare dekeyser to vlasic and I just knew it was bad.

 

I'm conflicted between wanting the coyotes to be good because GM but also wanting them to be bad because they suck.

 

He's like the "cool, young, hip" guy everyone is curious about. At least he makes the coyotes somewhat interesting again.

 

This is random and irrelevant, but did anyone else know that Patrik Stefan had concussion issues prior to being drafted? I just read that he got concussed three times in his draft season.

Poor guy.

 

I'm more curious as to why a leafs fan is googling "NHL first overall draft busts". Have you lost faith in the power of Matthews?

 

As a Leaf fan, you learn to never have faith. I'm just brushing up on all the various ways this could go horribly wrong so as to emotionally prepare myself for the inevitable.

 

Toronto is my team, I live in Ontario, but man they suck, I hope this year is better. We got rid of the pylon in Phaneuf and terrible goalie in Bernier. Lets hope for the best!
