This is the most Devils signing in history. A 36 year old 20 point scoring 3rd/4th liner.

 

Bonus for me. My best friends name all through school was Matt Irwin.

 

the bottom 6 is where our forwards need improvement...they were terrible lastyear. between the 11-12 guys that played on the 3rd and 4th line last year, they had like 30 goals total. that is putrid.

Fiddler is a good bottom 6 player. the Devils only have like 4-5 players over 30 in their lineup. 1 year deal too, so no risk

 

I wish Matt Irwin got more of a shot in Boston

 

Subban is a bad character guy though

 

I know it's no risk. But it's just so funny sometimes, you can take the Lou's physical body out of the Devils, but you can't take Lou out of their signings.

Lou would've given Ladd or Lucic a zillion dollars today. Shero is not Lou.

They're going for it this year. Why would they trade their starting goaltender now?

 

Isn't Boedker the one who is basically a 3rd line player who the Coyotes basically used the pp and top line playing to pump his value?

 

basically

he has played a TON of PP time over the past few years and is not a great ES point producer or possession player

 

I'm predicting at least 2 SH breakaway goals from Grabner and about 7 breakaway misses this season.
