the Devils defense is really not good now, you guys lol

 

I know you larsson brokendown but like this is amazing

hall + Zacha forever

 

he played arguably the toughest minutes in the league...him and Greene ALWAYS played against opposing teams' top lines and had some of the most defensive zone starts in the NHL

I posted a few days ago but over the past 3 years, Larsson has similar ES points/60 to guys like Shattenkirk and Doughty. the reason he doesn't have as many points as some of these other guys is because he isnt given PP minutes.

 

cool thing is that Taylor Hall and Adam Henrique are now reunited. They dominated juniors together.

 

MDZ is an offensive minded DMan and Larsson is a defensive minded DMan

not sure why they garner comparison

Keep in mind that the oilers have too much offense. Larson is a great addition to the blue line.

This is my favorite trade the Devils have made in my almost 20 years of being a fan. So happy right now.

Our defense was going to garbage whether we had Larsson next year or not. This is a huge coup for our offense.

 

Is Zacha going to make the team next year?

I'd be SHOCKED if he didn't...he can't play in the AHL yet so its either the Devils or back to Sarnia and he doesn't have anything left to prove in the OHL

I'm surprised that the Oilers went from hesitating to make a move in years past to trading away arguably their best player Hall (outside of McD) for Larsson.
