I'm down with this. DW looks like he is planning for that inevitable Burns payday and Thornton extension.

 

I'm interested to see was Victor Rask gets in his new deal. I was thinking it'd be similar to Lindholm's bridge deal which was 2 years 5.4m total. But I've seen talk about him getting 4-5 years at 4.5m per.

I'm usually on the screw it trade for less train but if they give up Hall or RNH for anything less than full value. Bad oilers bad.

 

I think it'd make more sense to move RNH and then dump Pouliot than trade Hall.

 

that's a bad trade for oilers but knowing the oilers they do it.

 

I'd be more than happy with that.

Of all the players Edmonton has to trade, they trade the only one (other than McDavid) that they shouldn't. Way to hold on to Eberle, Yakupov and RNH about 3 years too long

 

analytics Twitter is ripping oilers apart and I'm perfectly fine with that.

And of course it makes me look dumb because I was doubting the oilers make a dumb trade at all and ripping all these terrible trades.

 

I am not going to say the deal is fair 1 for 1, because it probably isn't
