They barely have enough cap room.

 

Buffalo has enough cap room to sign Stamkos at 12 a year and still have 7 mil to spare.

 

Boy you guys are going to feel silly when the Rangers deal Nash, Staal, and Girardi and sign Stamkos. Real silly.

 

Oh good thank god I was afraid we would go after a top 4 dman or top 6 winger

 

For Clarkson, Brown and and Jordan Staal respectively.

 

I honestly hope he does, I'd get great pleasure out of them being a shite team hamstrung by bad contracts for the next half decade while Matthews rots waiting to bolt as a UFA

 

to be fair to the Bruins the dman market is pretty crappy outside Campbell.

I still think he'd pick Buffalo over Detroit.

 

Detroit has a shifting core and their prospects aren't as highly touted as Buffalo.
