Joe Sakic is my all-time favorite player so I always have a soft spot for them.

 

I was hoping that since they've had high picks the last few years they might turn it around but nope...

 

I listen to the MM Podcast every week haha I loved his adoption of the Blues as his playoff team with the Bruins out.

In other news, Nate Thompson ruptured his achilles tendon working out and will be out until the deadline. Centers come knocking!

Haha I've listened to a bunch of those clips from that same YouTube channel so that name has been ingrained into my head. My favorite is him referring to his Thursday one as "Thursday Afternoon Monday Morning Just Before Friday Podcast." It makes no sense not to just call it the Thursday Afternoon Podcast lol

 

For the first time in a while I have no idea how to feel about next season for the Ducks. Will Carlyle lead them to glory again? Will it crash and burn? Are they division contenders or a wild card team? Will they miss the playoffs completely? Will Honda Center bring back chicken tenders and fries instead of chips?

 

Here's something to point your feelings in the right direction:

It's not a good direction, but at least you won't be disappointed come October...

it's going to suck when the Blackhawks gave up Teuvo time just because of this Bickell contract only to follow that up by signing Shaw to an awful contract.

 

it does suck that they have to get rid of TT but at the same time getting a 2nd/3rd isnt too bad considering Bickell's contract

I thought it was gonna be even worse for them

 

It's a pretty fair deal, especially considering everyone saying this years draft isn't very deep.

 

I honestly though they would get maybe a 3rd and lower rated prospect but yeah they got a fair deal

 

It will be so disappointing to go from Jennings winners to a defensive mess, but I've got to be hopeful.
