I'm biased and will tell you add Carolina to that list. Our first three picks seem very promising.

 

I'm uncomfortable with how long it's taking to break this CBJ trade.

Gotta be Hartnell+something.

 

Canes have an excess of D prospects. I could see Haydn Fleury or Roland McKeown being moved. You guys have any C/RW to send us?

I was more speaking on the state of the Pacific but yeah quite a few teams came out positive so seeing the sharks in the negative sucks.

 

We have a shit ton. Don't know quite how highly valued Fleury and McKeown are anymore though, so I don't know who specifically would make this hypothetically work.

 

Fleury is definitely rated higher than McKeown. He had somewhat of a "down year" in 14/15 but really bounced back this past season. I think he could make the NHL roster this year if we don't trade him. But with him being LHD and us having Hanifin, Slavin, and now Bean, he could be dangled.

Grateful that Francis seems to be building from the back up. I know that's funny given we're rolling with Ward/Lack, but he at least he knows they're not up to par.

 

Hahahaha omg first time I check my phone all day and I see the rangers drafted Sean "all I do is eat" Day. Guess the idea is to just bring in players that are already a huge bust, can't get much worse from there.

We just traded for Kulikov and Lehner was solid as a rock in net when healthy last season before having ankle surgery.

 

Not to mention we already have McCabe, Ristolainen, Bogosian and Gorges, with Guhle and Nelson in the pipeline.

 

We need scoring help more than defense at the moment.

 

the Sabres D is still not good and I am not sold on Lehner whatsoever

 

Ristolainen is a future norris candidate.

If Lehner can stay healthy and play like he did in the 21 games he did play last year he's good enough. You don't necessarily need to have a Vezina goalie to win cups (ie Niemi, Crawford, Osgood).
