Surprised Ghost signed that deal with all the shit Hakstol put him through last year. Thought the Flyers would be stupid and settle for a bridge deal instead, but this works. Even if he stays what he is right now (good 2nd pair guy who can run a power play), it's a fair contract.

the twittersphere has been blowing up with people thinking that seabrook is getting traded.

I saw some unreliable people thinking it was a Canadian team.

but all I got to say if a team gets suckered into trading for seabrook, I hope they suck forever.

Duchene to the islanders makes sense, I think they wanted him before the deadline but didn't want to give up one of their top 3 prospects for him. I'm sure the isles will do something way worse instead though lol Snow sucks

I'm just gonna speculate it's so they can protect someone else they'd otherwise have to expose all the while having a deal in place wherein Vegas agrees to not take Yandle.

Not sure it's been discussed in here, but whoever wins this series will fill the final space on the cup (sorry if this is obvious trivia). Next season, the top ring of the body of the cup will be removed (1953-54 to 1964-65), meaning players like Gordie Howe, Bobby Hull, and Rocket Richard won't have their names on the cup anymore

So the Devils either need to sign one of their RFA forwards before Friday or else they will have to expose Mike Cammalleri in order to meet the exposure requirements

Rangers don't have enough forwards to expose and with Fast, Lindberg, and Puempel playing hardball, I'm terrified they're going to re-sign Glass.
