I was at the San Jose game yesterday! Bards are going to sing about that legendary short-handed goal he racked up. So beautiful :verysad:

Pretty much the worst start I could think of for the Jackets tonight.

Ward and Donskoi got scratched to send a message to them so Haley is now the 4th line center.

pls sweep them Edmonton. They deserve it.

Does Lundqvist get an assist for that goal off his helmet? Y/N?

Has there been any teams in recent memory who have actually split the goalie workload decently that made the playoffs?

Hawks in the lockout shortened season but I suppose every team was doing the same.

I ask this question because they mentioned wanting to get Jones some rest down the stretch but Jones looks like he can play 65+ games.

The Sharks just scored off a goal that Sorensen passed to Haley who fumbled the pass and it landed on Vlasic stick and he scored.

    That's hilarious.

this line immediately gave up a goal right after and it's the sharks worst possession lines but whatever I'm just a dude who plays on the Xbox.

Panarin going into his annual "oh, I might miss my bonus" tear, except this year as a result we'll have to trade him at our own draft to accommodate the lifeless corpse of Brent Seabrook

Canes will gladly take Panarin off Chicago's hands

I wonder if the Canes will be in the market for Darling at all. If so they'll basically be my favorite eastern team and I already like em a bunch with Nordstrom and Teuvo

Why would they lose him they just signed him to a 2 year deal. And they will have the money cuz I have a feeling Hossa is done at the end of the year

Hossa could retire but the cap recapture is going to be brutal.

also the only significant person probably gone this year is maybe Darling.

Maybe, I really have no idea what we're going to do in net.

I think they're going to make a strong push for Scott Darling or get Fleury from Pittsburgh since their hands are tied. There'a also a part of me that thinks they'll be stupid and stick with Ward/Lack next year because they've had a good month and go through this mess again.

Wonder who takes Ben Bishop or Steve Mason. Gotta figure at this point that Flames retain Elliot too I'm guessing.

The backup market is pretty good this year. Hoping the Bruins buy low on someone who is more than likely to rebound. Lots of moving pieces, going to be really interesting seeeing who goes where

It'd be a situation where the cap doesn't budge much and Panarin hits all of his $2.7 mil in bonuses - which carry over into next season. Also, we couldn't sign any of our RFAs or UFAs either (Panik, Darling) and have to dump Kruger's $3.1 mil cap hit in Vegas or trade him. The Panarin deal gives them leverage should they need to trade him with no other options (since basically all our long-term contracts have full or modified NMCs)

Also I don't know why Hossa would retire as he's doubled last year's goal total playing half the year on the third line. And as @CobraKidJon said, we'd still eat his cap hit through the remainder of his contract even if he did retire.

the bruins have been on fire since I made fun of them.

The sharks have been literally a tire fire since I made fun of the bruins.

Don't be fooled they were hemmed in their own zone for almost half the game.

Rask has been excellent lately but Joe Haggerty would have you believe that Tuukka had "a fire lit under him" after being called out by coaches/media
