I have a feeling now that tonight won't be especially busy. With a shit-ton of rumours but absolutely no activity, I feel like it's gonna take a while to hash out any potential deals.

Or maybe everyone's just being awesome and waiting for the draft to start making dudes uproot their lives.

That Dougie Hamilton will be traded report is so stupid if it's not completely bogus. Why work so hard on getting an NHL caliber goalie only to trade away your best defensemen? Two steps forward, one step back.

 

Just making that room so they can get shot blocking king Kris Russell back.

 

And Hamilton isn't their best defenseman either. Gio and Brodie are a fair cut above - which isn't an indictment on Hamilton, those two are just amazing.

 

They're talking about that right now on NHL Radio on Sirius. I guess they're on the floor and said Burke already has his tie undone at the table and Treliving is pacing back and forth on the phone for the past 25 min or so lol.
