I can't believe the Habs are honestly seriously entertaining offers for PK. Like.......why?

I mean I guess that's true. I was just surprised to see those pieces in a trade.

Oilers have a good amount of forwards but I thought Draisaitl was the one that can't be moved. And #4 could be nice too.

 

how the hell would Edmonton afford that under the cap? there'd have to be more moves

 

I'd imagine that the only untouchable in EDM is McDavid.

 

if Edmonton can get Subban without having to give up Hall or McDavid, I'd imagine they'd do it

I still don't understand why Colorado is looking to move Barrie

 

Chia should be basically saying yes constantly.

I'd take a Norris winner any day over Drai and 4th pick and plus the Oilers keep Hall and RNH? That's basically perfect.

 

Edmenton takes that deal so quickly that Bergevin won't have time to realize the mistake he made.

They're screwed though if Colorado comes in with Duchene + Barrie. Barrie is as close to as good of a downgrade from Subban as you can get, and they'd get a #1C on top of it.

 

Flyers were gonna give NSH 4 1st rounders and a $11.4M AAV deal to Shea Weber so Draisaitl and #4 seems like peanuts compared to that for PK and his $9.0M AAV deal.

 

and the only team still left to find a goalie is Flams.

Edit: Apparently Bergevin was planning to address the media anyway, so this doesn't necessarily mean anything.

 

I wouldn't rule out Canes being active in the goalie market. I could see us replacing Lack with a better backup. Could also see adding a #1 if he right situation arises. Either way Lack would be out.

True. If Hagelin couldn't work out in Boudreau's system than Carlyle's system will most definitely not work out for Ennis (but I'll bite my tongue just in case it happens).

Might as well resign Jamie McGinn at that point. He'd be a much better option that Foligno.

Oilers may trade for Mark McNeill, edmonton-born C who has been on Hawks farm for several years

18th overall pick in 2011 and he played one game with us last season. Honestly don't know why he hasn't gotten more of a look but once you get in Q's dog house you stay there.
