Seattle can't even get an arena situation figured out so they are still a long way from getting a team.

Good. I want something ridiculous.

 

I feel like they will probably save the name/logo and color scheme for the World Cup of hockey. That's the best possible place to unveil it.

 

Someone on FB suggested the name be the White Knights and the logo would be a giant fedora.

 

I think something referring to Sinatra would be cool but the only thing I've seen that'd work as a team name is Rat Pack which I think is really stupid.

But minor league teams can literally name their team anything and get away with it.

 

That's fair. I think Vegas could end up with a decent team with how the expansion draft is set up.

 

I know Swoos mentioned it but I really hope Vegas gets a good GM/coach. We can already tell teams are going to try and pawn off bad contracts but I hope this GM is smart and avoids them.

Disappointed that my city didn't get a team, but it was expected. Still have hope of getting a team in the (hopefully) near future.

 

I can't find the tweet but Foley said he has resumes from 7 current AGM's and 3 or 4 former GMs so he should have a good choice there

 

Hopefully. Dreger made this tweet and I legit only think one of those are good candidates so far.

 

They were Carolina's AHL team for a couple years before they moved to Charlotte.

 

I hope the The Las Vegas "Dry Heat" is one of the other names they're considering.

 

Best name suggestion I've seen was Kidney Thieves.

 

Las Vegas vultures has a nice ring to it

 

Joe Pavelski not being on the NHL 17 cover makes me very sad.

 

ESPN did a contest a while back for possible Vegas names, uniforms, etc.
