He could, yes, but you would think they feel pretty good about their chances to toss a 3rd to Nashville. It certainly can't hurt that he's good friends with Eichel and the Sabres have an immediate opening on Eichel's LW.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong but if Vesey went with Nashville he could have been on a line with Forsberg and Johansen? The opposite way with Buffalo and it be Yikel and Kane?

Likely would have been Johansen/Neal.

 

Personal opinion but I would have choose Nashville over Buffalo in that scenario. I can see where he is going with it though in Eichel friendship and rival of Tor/Bos.

More likely Eichel with Sam Reinhart at RW. They played very, very well together down the stretch and Kane meshed with ROR pretty well.

 

Sad to see Freddie go, but I definitely like the return on that. Hopefully this gives Gibby a ton of confidence moving forward. Now get Rakell/Lindholm signed!

Ducks are a part of three openers this year. Getting that east coast trip out of the way early. Perhaps better for Carlyle.

 

Vesey agent said Vesey still plans to turn free agent on Augusr 15th. I know it's still early and Buffalo hasn't got a chance to woo him yet but ouch.

Saw a tweet about the Rangers recent moves.

In the span of recent trades, the New York Rangers have traded this year's 1st round pick, 3 2nd round picks, a 4th round pick, Duclair, Saarela and Moore... in exchange for Chris Summers and a 4th round pick

 

Not crazy about that contract.

 

I'm glad we did our part in this trade.

Nearly 10 million in goaltending this year for leafs so maybe a cap dump for Leafs with Bernier?

If #FlaPanthers do sign Keith Yandle (and Brian Campbell as expected) Dmitry Kulikov would definitely be in play. Hear team is shopping.
