I heard Tyler bozak can play left wing.

 

I love that Vatanen contract. That's got to be a comp for what Rasmus Ristolainen should get.

I don't think they can but I don't see why the league would block a few throwaway picks that are thrown in. This is the closest thing we're getting to the days of players being traded for cash. I love it.

My bet is Francis wins out big in the near future with this kind of stuff. Even with the questionable re-signing of cam ward.

 

The Ward signing is fine. In two years, Nedeljkovic should be ready to start anyways. No point giving up assets for a goalie unless we're in win now mode.

 

Bruins traded Marco Sturm to LA and received literally nothing in return, so perhaps? Was before the new CBA though

 

I've decided there's no way I'd take Datsyuk's contract if all we're getting is Jurco or Pulkkinen. Detroit wouldn't be losing anything. Those guys have been somewhat of a disappointment. If we're going to help them out we need to make them bleed a little.

Bob Murray said something about Wednesday being the day for Vegas info at the select-a-seat thing the Ducks had over the weekend. But a schedule release is obviously gonna trump that. It'll be interesting how the new team shakes up the conference matchups and how many times you're playing each other.

 

Schedule release is tomorrow and Vegas thing is on the 22th.

 

Fuck I'm stupid. I just remembered that Vegas won't be playing this coming season anyway.

Canes home opener is against NYR

 

Sharks home opener is no surprise the Kings since last year was the Duckies.

 

Seeing a lot of talk about Stephan being on the block. Why would NYR do that? I can't see that being true.

 

Trading Stepan would be dumb... but I've been preparing myself for the Rangers FO to make stupid moves this offseason for a couple weeks, so it wouldn't surprise me at all.

 

trading Stepan to get Stamkos obviously.
