I think its an awful move by Detroit to try and get Stamkos especially when they have a bunch of other holes that need fixing like that defense especially.

 

If they do it the fans are going to murder him when he gets injured again and they continue to suck. If he wants more money over a cup, that's his choice.

 

the old sign and trade happening? I doubt they Lindholm go at all.

 

I'm not convinced if he's staying yet. Obviously big if he does, but Lindholm has always been seen as the preferred favorite of the two since they came up.

Edit: Could be a possibility to move Fowler and sign Lindholm, but then again Carlyle was raving about Fowler in his presser a couple of days ago.

I decided to look at the Ducks general fanager and man if the Ducks didn't give Bieska and Stoner those contracts like they did. The ducks could have easily had an extra 7.25 million to play with this offseason and keep the whole crew.

 

Can't wait until a couple years from now when Hanifin-Faulk is the best pairing in the league.

Indeed.....Samuel Morin is coming along albeit slower than I think Hextall had planned. Sanheim was called up for the tail end of the season in the AHL so he is probably due for one full season in the AHL next year but by 2017-2018, they should all be up.

Won't surprise me if Hextall drafts another defensemen at 18 next week either.

Last chat with Bob Murray, he pointed toward immediately working on arbitration eligible RFAs. Vatanen was one, Andersen the other.

 

Also Wings radio guy reporting that Carolina likely picking up Datsyuk's contract, along with Jurco/Pulkkinen.

 

Did it sound like speculation or reporting?

I think I'd rather have Jurco but another Finn would be cool I guess. Neither seem to be developing well though.

Sounds like the price is higher than Jurco or Pulk

 

Think Francis might want more, considering Detroit will be a WC rival next year.

 

Maybe the Samuelis have finally given Murray the go ahead to spend to the cap.

 

Would be nice to keep everyone around whilst dumping a Bieksa or Stoner contract in the process.
