Like it was a good time but there were moments I was like "...can't I do this at home?"

Once I taught my brain to block out the screen it was wonderful.

Yea,I mean our football stadiums aren't that modern so you can't do that if you wanted lol there's definitely been basketball games where I want to take a nap by the 4th quarter but a family is surrounding me and bumping into my arms every other minute

I go to the Lions thanksgiving game each year, it's always a good time. That board in Dallas has to be a massive distraction. I'm glad Ford Field doesn't have something that big

i mean with a capacity of 80 thousand, probably comes in handy in the nosebleeds

I think it's mainly for the "PARTY PASS" section where they get people to pay $20 for upper level standing room or whatever haha

yeah at which point throwing a party for the game at your house is infinitely more appealing

If it were just "Pay $20 to go to the game in standing room!" I'd get wanting to do it because it really is a spectacle (I didn't wanna believe Jerryworld would be that great but it was). But when it's "Pay $20 (plus $40 for parking plus show up early plus concession prices and beer prices) to go to the game in standing room where you constantly have to hold your food beer!" it's a lot less appealing haha.

Very thankful we had seats when we went.

Not to mention you have to deal with Arlington traffic because not only is the stadium there but the Rangers ballpark and Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor are all there too

    gross.

best "spectacle" stadium i went to was definitely the Superdome. That stadium is fucking AWESOME and very easy to pregame considering they sell beers at $5 a pop with live music going on at Champions Park right by the stadium. And then inside the stadium huge bowls of jambalaya are $10.

They light up a flame tunnel for Saints players to run out onto the field, and have like laser light displays on commercial breaks and shit. It's also got seating on seemingly on a steeper grade incline than most stadiums -- there isn't a bad view of the field in that entire dome.

We got killed but I did see a 90 yard Allen Robinson TD and a 60 yard Hurns TD in the same game. I mean we started the game down 21-0 and then those things happened, but still haha.

I love that the Browns, Tribe, and Cavs all play downtown and not the suburbs. It causes a lot of good problems for the city, especially when teams are winning.

I wanna go to the Superdome SO badly haha, maybe I'll convince Laura to make a NOLA trip happen during the season

Very excited to see Reliant (fuck change I'm calling it Reliant)

IF you buy tickets in NOLA I'd try to meet you there. It's kind of a halfway point and I could visit my mom as an excuse. Go give @tkamB some shit about Derek Carr, etc.

I loved Baltimore's layout for a sports city. Both stadiums right at the south entrance of the city via both highways (95 and 295). All the suburban traffic funnels in and out without having to flood the city streets. If you live in Baltimore you legit never deal with sports traffic unless you have to leave the city. But at the same time all the bars are ALIVE during Orioles games, people yelling at the pitcher on the TV and shit.

Huge oceans of orange Orioles shirts jaywalking across Pratt Street is the only difficult thing to avoid when driving haha. Honestly as I describe this I'm realizing Baltimore is a much bigger baseball city than football city haha. The Ravens, despite playoff and superbowl success, are still kinda secondary to their beloved O's**.

Hard Rock Stadium is a good 40 minutes from downtown Miami which kind of sucks

I haven't been to an NFL game since probably high school though. They are just too much of a hassle/too expensive

Wolves, twins, and Vikings all play downtown Minneapolis. Off the light rail and major bus stops it's so easy to get to games.

I would never go to a Vikings game here unless the packers are in town though.

Yeah I hadn't since elementary school before last season, only went last season because the ticket was free. This Texans game is the first football ticket I've ever bought.

Yeah, I like stadiums being in an urban setting. I'm sure with the scale of Jerryworld going downtown or near was not really feasible, but going to one suburb definitely makes it hard for others to attend games I would imagine.

Paul Brown in Conci is about 50 minutes from my house, but I'm never going back there lol. Might catch the Indy/Pittsburgh game if it goes to Lucas Oil

That area of Arlington doesn't really feel suburban either, but yeah. I feel like it's probably more convenient for the Fort Worth side since they don't have to come all the way to Dallas, but it's way tougher for the Dallas side haha.

all you guys saying sports games are too big of a hassle haha. That's why I like my small market sports team. I drive to my job's parking lot (which has an entrance to the Riverwalk), get on the water Taxi ($8 round trip), enjoy the view of the sun on the river, then drink a 4 pack of tallboys at Metropolitan Park (in front of where the ampitheater is being built), and then walk into the stadium.

**details blacked out here likely due to extreme disappointment and a sun-inspired hangover**

Then, when it's time to leave, i wait maybe 20-30 minutes for the water taxi to come two or three times (obviously a lot of people do this and we can't all fit on one trip)... and that takes me to the parking lot, where I'm across the river from all the traffic and 5 minutes from home again.

It really is a very "Florida" football game experience haha. I even remember watching games from my family's boat on the superscreen, with the radio broadcast on, just to enjoy the crowd noise and the nice warm-but-not-hot October weather.

Yeah, I like the Cleveland layout for the most part. The Browns location and overall layout is a bit awkward (because it was rushed for '99). But the idea of being in an easy walking and driving city with all major teams located downtown with plenty of bars just makes sense to me.

The Cavs and Indians literally play next door to each other so you can get some cool events going in the plaza between the two stadiums and bars are near by. The World Series and Cavs opening the season at the same time caused a lot of good events and excitement. It's funny when out of state or Canadians visit because the city/experience is usually nothing like they expect it to be.
