Yup... and we get them twice a year.

 

Josh Norman is still one of my favorites. His interview on Lebatard yesterday was amazing.

 

Except Mariota doesn't have a deep ball and doesn't use anticipation so actually he'd be pretty bad at getting the most of his athletic ability

 

They have great trenches and a good enough QB prospect but that's about it. They still need a lot of work outside of that.

Yes a great running game helped them win a lot more than us hence why I think it's important for us to answer with Fournette. But that gave them, a mediocre team, a cushion more so than it actually means they're close to being a complete roster.

 

If we don't know how to slow that team down then it's our fault at this point.

I have faith that the now very solid Jags defense can keep Colts games within reach. We've played Luck better and better each time it seems. And handed him his first AFC south loss in a long ass time.

 

The Pagano-era Colts play everyone close though. One week they're only showing up for the 4th quarter in Jacksonville, the next week they're beating someone they have no business beating (like Green Bay or Tennessee), and then they're back to making Brock Osweiler look like a good investment.

As the Jags get better, I'd imagine (or at least hope) the Colts play better against them

 

One of the best offensive lines in football* everyone is young and improving for the most part too. An elite OL, good QB, and great running game just needs a mediocre defense to compete.

No thanks. I've already studied loads of film on him in the NFL to come to those conclusions. Literally nothing he did in college means anything if he can't do it in the NFL.

He has one of the worst deep balls in the league right now. And my whole article was about how he's a see it-stick it QB, who will plateau until he learns how to anticipate receivers gettin open before it happens. You saw all the film clips.

no WRs is a bigger problem than you seem to make it out to be. It's not 1996 they will need better pass catchers to be truly competitive. I just think Mariota would be a waste of John Ross

 

It might be because he was throwing to tajee sharpe, reshard mathews and Harry Douglas... just a guess lol

 

I mean he consistently waits until a dude is wide open to throw. That's not anticipation. In fact it's sometimes too late to throw the ball at that point because a defender is already on his way. If you play madden and don't understand this concept you might not be the best madden player haha.

You have to anticipate the defenses mistakes as they are happening if you want to capitalize and catch them off guard. I think it goes both ways.
