Uhh they are allowed to have personalities. It's just that being a asshole is a personality trait that isn't allowed.

 

Idk if it isn't allowed lol some players are just really good so teams put up with their nonsense

Well way less people are gonna be going to the draft, get used to it lol Chicago wasn't great but it was probably worth going to. Dallas will probably fair okay but it should just really alternate between ny and cali every year.

 

Dallas will do amazingly next year and then it'll never happen again because once it's happening people will realize there's so little to do

 

It'll be like "This facility is amazing!...Okay what now?"

 

Yea, I expect it to do a lot better compared to Philly and so many kids in the south living close enough to drive to the draft so more prospects may show up. Still don't think this will be as great as they want in the long run, the NHL draft doesn't do that well and they go to friggin buffalo

The return on hosting a draft is definitely not the same as hosting a finals or all star game in some of the other leagues, but I don't see why you wouldn't want to host the draft. I'm sure there are some fan events hosted in the lead up, but it's mostly about the guaranteed revenue for the city. It's one of the few days where you get the better part of the league in one city and spending money on hotels, dining, and entertainment/parties.

I wouldn't go just because I don't care what any other team does besides mine ha.

 

I'm way too intrigued by what other teams do, I love the excitement of the draft so I'm sure it'd be fun to experience in person

 

Rick Smith ruins the draft for me

 

The draft is more fun the 2nd and 3rd day IMO, 1st takes forever and is packed af. Also getting in the 1st day alone is a pain in the butt.

 

Day 2 is the best
