it isn't in the US but i went to the Island of Victoria in british columbia, got to the hang out at the school where they filmed X MEN. and enjoyed some tim hortons after.

 

Not much else to do there, it's mostly for tourists. They film wwe stuff there too if I'm not mistaken. X men movies suck, otherwise I'd be jealous.

 

yeah i was visiting a friend who lived there, we did go whale watching and that was awesome.

 

Any idea what kind are indigenous to that area? I've been looking into this kind of thing lately. I'd guess orcas or white whales but I'm not sure.

 

I never said I'd love to live there, just that it was amazing for nature and for different cultures

Trust me, I could never deal with those winters and the amount of darkness during that time

Eh, I just think there's better places for that then Alaska I guess. Have you been to New Mexico?

 

im not exactly sure all the kinds that are in that area, but i distinctly remember from that tour we saw a couple oracles, and i think one or two humpback whales. unfortunately we didn't get THAT close (and obviously with good reason), but it is just one of those things you want to experience.

 

Yes I have, I enjoyed it a lot culturally but did not care for the natural aspect of it

 

Humpback was my other guess, they have a lot of them on the east coast too. They can jump and cause a ruckus, that's one of my biggest fears actually Haha

 

That's why I brought it up, I'd never live there but I know there's a pretty good positive spiritual community with diverse culture there. Also they have Sasquatch.

 

I do enjoy the dry heat there, I much prefer it over heavy humidity. Weather-wise, I'd definitely prefer it over Alaska. But god dammit I wanna see puffins.

 

oh yeah, there were speedboats getting pretty close to them, while they were jumping in and out of the water, it was wild.

 

Dry heat is the only way to go

 

Speaking of dry, we've had the driest winter here for as long as I can remember, we've been breaking record highs in Feb/March almost every day. Every day I get a red flag warning near my house and we've had a ton of fires by my work.

Also very, very dumb. If I cant defense a scoring attempt, it shouldnt be able to score.

If the defense has to be 10yds away, but as soon as the kicker starts running, they can rush in to block the kick, then yeah, Im down.

 

Well, teams wouldn't get points. If the ball goes trough the uprights it's placed on the 20 rather than the 25. It's still silly though.

It's no surprise Snyder is the owner presenting the change. I'm sure it'll get shot down.
