Ironically you probably would've done best at UF haha. Their music scene would've been great for you. But yeah, Tally is in the middle of a bunch of bullshit. But if it were say, a Boulder or a Chapel Hill, I'd live there no problem.

It's his lack of experience and the logistics of the whole thing that concerns me.

 

Jax guys, should I expect Alualu to be a solid depth/rotational guy on the DLine, or should I lower expectations?

 

I just gravitate toward more of an urban landscape than that in general. There's a whole "exploration" aspect that comes with living near two major cities like Baltimore and DC. You can always go somewhere new and it's always easy to meet like minded people. I got a lot out of living in that area even if my experience at University of Maryland was not ideal.

 

I haven't seen him in a 3-4. Our problem has always been he doesn't offer enough agility or burst to be a 4-3 end. He has become reliable in run support but we've used him less and less with Malik Jackson on the field. I think with his strength and stout build hes a better fit and he would be quick for a 3-4 end.

He is coming from the Jaguars so you can't be sure he's well coached hahaha. But I will say I expect Alualu to do better in Pittsburgh and Cyprien to do better in Tennessee, 100%.

I can point you to the like-minded people in Tally and you'll love it. But yeah, there's no exploration. There's pretty much one or two of everything. Granted, they're all great and many of them are still my favorite places I've been to, but there's not a lot haha.

 

Earl Thomas? Jason Pierre-Paul? Mike Iupati? Demaryius Thomas? No thank you, I'll have Tyson Alualu.

Like, four drafts in a row where the first, second and third round picks were all like this. It's like he tanked the Jaguars on purpose. Like he hated Wayne Weaver and slowly, painfully wanted to ruin his dreams for what was once a playoff franchise.

 

Yeah, they seem to be projecting him as an end. With Heyward and Tuitt, hopefully he won't play too much, but as relief here and there.

I do enjoy city talk especially since I haven't gotten to explore much in my life. There are lots of places I haven't been and a few cool places I can share about.

 

Anyone been to Anchorage? It's the strangest city I've ever been in but I love Alaska so much.

 

Wait, really?

 

Alaska, Hawaii, North Dakota, and Nevada are the only states west of the Mississippi that I haven't been to. The strangest town I've ever been to was Wall, South Dakota. It's a community whose closest settlement is a place called "Ghost Town" and they one day just decided to put up billboards all along South Dakota so by the time you get there you have to stop just to know why there were five hours of billboards every mile lol.

This story sounds made up but I raced a caribou on the mountain of Denali

What happened was: Me, my dad, my sister, and a tour guide were on the mountain. We had flown up by helicopter and were hiking around. I have a naturally longer stride than everyone else so I end up walking a bit ahead. We see a caribou somewhat nearby and the guide of course wants us to keep quiet as to not startle it, so we do. The caribou sees us, and runs UP to us and circles around me. I'm scared as shit and the tour guide just goes "This is part of the ritual, he sees you as competition and wants to race you." I tell him he's wrong because it sounds ridiculous. He says "Try running, see what happens. You'll see." At this point I'm just like "Fuck it might as well" (in my head, of course, because my dad was there) and start running. The caribou TAKES OFF next to me and I trip and fall on my 5th step. He won fair and square and the mountain still belongs to him. Someday it will be mine.
