Definitely the right choice.

 

Any good? Bears don't have much on the DL besides Hicks and Goldman. He'd probably take playing time from Mitch Unrein, another former Bronco.

Don't know much about him. Is he any good/does he fit in a 3-4?

 

Dude took forever to figure the game out (he's from Estonia and I don't think he played in college? don't quote me on that). He was a rotational guy that never really panned out. The ONLY thing he brought to the table was his penchant for blocking kicks/XPs, which wasn't worth what he couldn't do.

 

He did play in college, he's never played in a 3-4 as far as I know

Not sure how Tennessee is gonna recover from losing a depth OL to a division rival. I'm pretty sure this is the nail in the coffin for them.

 

Carr is going to throw so many screens to Patterson. That's actually a great spot for him.

Well let's not pretend like Patterson is a receiver, he's gonna be a monster returner and they'll try to put the ball in his hands a few times. I'm curious what someone like that got though.

In exchange for what the would have gotten anyway ($12mil base salary)...or being cut and getting more on the free market...he now ends up in the same situation next year without a lot of leverage
