1st round tender was smart though, because if a team REALLY wanted him, or if their FA plans fell through, they had Butler locked down. And they can always get a 2nd and 4th, for example, instead of just a 2nd.

Problem now is Butler is pissed. He was apparently part of the original Cooks trade, but wouldnt sign his tender to make it happen. Which is probably gonna bit him in the butt, because the Pats will just sit on him for the year if they have to

CHI needs a good backup behind Glennon...or something like that.

It's about 1.5 million. I'd take Foles over Daniel any day too.

 

Thats the going rate for a backup that wont Orlovsky your team if he becomes a starter.

Schaub gets 2/$9mil, Hoyer got 2/$12mil. Havent seen Barkely's numbers, but I bet its 2/$8mil or so. Hell, if the Skins trade Cousins and Colt McCoy becomes the starter, he's gonna get a pay raise to $7-8mil easily.

Id much rather have Foles than Daniels...or the backup QBs making $2-3mil/yr

I don't see any reason to complain, I look at it as a upgrade.

 

I guess....They both suck. Carson goes down, team is fucked anyway.
