Every running back coming off of a 400+ carry season has been garbage in the history of the NFL, regardless of how he was used. Now, the offensive line was obviously worse than in Dallas, and it's clear that was much more of a contributing factor. And the Eagles were obviously not running the same system as Dallas. But I highly doubt that alone counts for the incredibly steep drop off from Dallas to Philly. Like I said, Murray was fine in Dallas running outside and in the shotgun.

Eagles could be banking on the fact that its inevitable the one time the Browns pass on a 1st round QB they end up being good.

 

I know Wentz isn't old, but he's 23 and he'll be 24 by mid-season. That's certainly 2 years older than Goff. So you're kind of wasting a lot of his potential career if you sit him behind Bradford or Daniels next season or for a season and a half.

Yeah, Roseman basically implied that he knew who the Rams are taking. Talked about how they have a good relationship with them and all.

 

I like Lynch's upside, huge potential there.

 

I mean it's obvious the Rams are taking Goff but let's not hold it against Fisher to be a complete fuck up and take Wentz instead.

 

biggest winner here might be whoever gets to trade down to the team that wants Paxton Lynch. This feels like the 2011 draft on repeat. QBs who belong in the early 2nd (Gabbert, Ponder....even Locker was a late 1st kinda guy) end up going in the top 10 because teams panic

And the teams that didnt panic and waited til the 2nd to get their QB used their first rounder to get All-Pros (Cincy got AJ Green, 49ers got Aldon Smith)

For Goff/Wentz, sure. But Lynch? Cook? Hackenberg? Thing about those 2 guys going 1/2 is it means there are still teams at 7 and 8 that dont have certain starters. And a few others in the top 20 that could use a future guy. How many will sit comfortable and hope Lynch is there at pick 40?

Its why Gabbert/Locker/Ponder all went so fast. None should have been picked top 10ish, but, you have enough teams in need within pouncing distance...
