  1. This is most likely the case honestly.

See my post above. It seems pretty clear that the Eagles do in fact know who the Rams are taking. But he can't come out and say it.

  3. How does this even make sense ?

Well you figure Howie KNOWS they are getting one of the two QBs at 2....probably not worth thinking too much into, imo.

Browns could have two top ten picks next year. Amazing.

The Eagles were really bad this year and they were picking 13. I don't see them picking Top 10 next year.

So wait the eagles have no picks till the 6th round after 2.. Right?

Not with how bad the east is. Like somebody said earlier, they could win the east w/ 7-8-9 wins and that would put them in the mid-20's.

They had two 3rd's this year, so they have one remaining.

  12. Not having two 3rd's is going to hurt big time.

I'm sure roseman is a smart guy but something about him just kind of irks me. The way he talks just vibes off kind of fake.

They've also done next to nothing to get better (and have shed at least 3 starters), and now have no draft picks for depth. And a new head coach is involved in this...so, hard to say how that will go as well. Assuming the pick is Wentz, that means Chase Daniel is probably the Week 1 starter. And he's got next to no experience.

Division probably got better as a whole as well.

You can make a pretty good argument that losing Maxwell and Murray is addition by subtraction. Heck, even Kiko. They all were terrible down the stretch. There's a solid amount of young talent on the team, especially on the defensive side.

whether you like those players or not, they were still NFL starters. you cant just assume who they throw in there will be any better

None of it matters if Pederson is a garbage coach. Some of that will be on his shoulders.

Kiko and Demarco are probably a wash if they keep Mathews. Not sure I agree on Maxwell, and you arent getting another starting corner out of this draft. But the real issue is you now have 0 injury depth.

Fortunately you addressed O-line and CB a bit in free agency, but, even there, you are an injury away from starting some pretty weak players. And CB could be a real issue if Carroll or Brown dont work out this year

You actually can because in the case of Maxwell, Nolan Carroll played better than Maxwell did on the outside. Even Eric Rowe was coming on strong at the end of the year. The case can be made.

Same with RB and Mathews, he was better than Murray was all year.

Both come with a tiny cap number compared to what they were both making.

The major backlash that I see with this trade on the surface is $$$ tied into QBs. For 2016, sure. Beyond that? You could have no Bradford/Daniels and then a QB on a rookie deal for five years so....the $$$ into QBs thing could be a luxury rather than a hindrance for years to come.

but the Eagles did not use those players (Maxwell and Murray) the way they were supposed to be used. They did not put them in the best position to succeed.

Maybe, but I'm not totally sold on that either. Maxwell was downright lazy most of the year in his play, which has nothing to do with being misused. Murray actually had a higher YPC in Dallas out of shotgun than under center, so it wasn't like Murray was suddenly being used in a completely different way.

Except the guys we did throw in were better, even in the middle of last season...

yes, it was 100% was. I think that much is pretty evident.
