crazy. he was bad last year and this preseason though, so why wait for it to get even worse? especially when he was the highest paid kicker in the league.

Will be so weird not to see him out there every week.

 

Fucking Jason Meyers is still employed.

 

meh. Young kickers are a crapshoot. Just look at Roberto Aguayo.

Myers may never pan out... kickers aren't really a position you can scout, at that level of talent it just has to do with whether you are fine tuned to changes in the weather, can control pressure and anxiety well enough in front of all those people to eliminate jitters.

We have signed people both offseasons to compete with him and he's beat them out in practice every time, we just gotta get lucky with either him learning how to keep his heart rate down or us finding another kicker with more consistency.

 

Meh thats so dumb. Why would you want to go join a team that always loses to your old team. I'm not saying he necessarily wanted to come to hot as fuck Jacksonville but man, he certainly was looking for a "rebuilding" team so that's a little disappointing.

 

He was looking to get paid and get revenge

 

and he could have had both by the end of week 1 here

Eagles get: Bradford, 2015 5th, 2017 1st, 2018 4th

And paying chase Daniels fuck you backup money...all to get to...

A rookie QB starting who isn't guaranteed to be better than Foles or Bradford.

That's their entire 2016 draft traded...and only in jettisoning other vets did they get a few picks back.

 

Funniest part is Browns got all those picks, and they walk into Week 1 with the stronger QB situation

 

I can't believe TT willingly chose Lane Taylor and $7 million over Josh Sitton.
