I will too. Because any RB they pick will be better than any pass rush they pick haha. They don't need to be good against us still.

 

New Uniforms:

 

Better not be picking 14. Several parts of our team didn't pan out if we are picking 14.

 

Or every part did and we underperformed still. Or maybe every part of another team pans out, like the Texans. Or we just Jaguar. But realistically that's 7-9 and that's not bad at all for this team.

 

It's awful when our second team defense this year was our first team defense last year and we only add two wins

 

I feel like every time we lost games it was because the other team KEPT SCORING POINTS and that put a lot of pressure on our offense to where Bortles eventually cracked and made more mistakes. The first loss to the Texans, the losses to the Titans, Buccaneers, Jets, Chargers are all examples of this. Even if we still cant challenge the Patriots they put up 30 in a half against us last year. One of the Jags offense best games was against the Saints - when Brees scored 3 TDS in barely over a quarter and Bortles had to try to keep up with that.

A vastly improved defense changes the narrative of games more so than it just improves the team. I want to see how good the Jaguars can be when they can actually play conservative offense in close games and make their big plays unpredictable.

I'd say it's impressive when that defense was just horrible. Is 7 wins underporforming here or was 5 over performing last year?

 

Don't be silly. It's pretty hard to be 14th in points scored and do worse than 5-11. The defensive performance, and lack of depth to replace injuries to our only good MLB and our two best DL last year had us at our floor.

 

Can you please start all your counterpoints in debates with "dont be silly" from now on? Haha :P

 

I was just looking at the renderings of the vegas stadium and god damn it looks sick. I kind of understand the cost too. In a city like Las Vegas the football stadium has to be more than a football stadium. It needs to be a spectacle.

That team went 5-11.

THAT is overperforming at 5 wins. This Jags team would have put up 30+ on that mediocre 2011 Jags defense and Blaine Gabbert would.have curled in a ball and they would have scored less than 20.

 

Wished they trademarked "Sin City Raiders" instead. That's badass. If the Warriors can go by a nickname instead of the city name, the Raiders should too.
