FSU is too far gone to come back though. Clemson still wins the division even if FSU wins the game.

Agreed, but I mean more if FSU does beat Clemson, other teams may then have the blueprint for success (if it's not pure luck).

Oh yeah, very true. It'll make things very interesting.

Would FSU still be a justifiable loss for Clemson as far as playoffs are concerned(assuming Clemson still wins ACC)? I mean I've been to 2 games in Tallahassee, and it's definitely a hard place to win... But they have 2 losses and we're only halfway through the season.

Good thing for Tennessee then after the Bama game this weekend the rest of their opponents are 11-20 combined with wins against:

Middle Tennessee, Western Kentucky, Austin Peay, Eastern Kentucky, Vandy, East Carolina, New Mexico State, Eastern Michigan, and Delaware State.

So it'll balance out kinda nicely for them.

Yes the back half of our schedule will be most welcomed.

Should be double digit favorites in every game after Saturday.

I've seen Jake Browning jump into a lot of national media pundits Top 5 for Heisman (2nd on Bruce Feldman's ballot) so I decided to look at it and I do think it is still Lamar Jackson's to lose because he has that presence of a dual threat which Browning does not have and so that works in Jackson's favor big time.

But I wanted to take a look at the stats to compare and see where they're at:

    Browning: 104/144 72.2% 1418 Yards 9.8 Y/A 23 TD/2 INT 204.9 QBR. RUSH: 26/48/3 TD.

    Jackson: 101/170 59.4% 1625 Yards 9.6 Y/A 14 TD/ 4 INT 162.2 QBR. RUSH: 92/688/14TD.

Interesting stat I saw: NCAA record for passing efficiency? Russell Wilson in 2011 with 191. 78.

Anyways, unless Louisville takes a few more losses or Jackson implodes, it seems like he's on cruise control for the Heisman but interesting comparison.

Isn't that why he was absent from LSU's last home game? He was sick or something?

Yeah he was kept in his yard and went into Hospice care last night and was euthanized over night.

Sounds like he deteriorated pretty quickly

i'm writing a book, leave me alone.

most surprising because Wisconsin rarely, if ever, has good wide receivers / a passing attack. that was a special and fun year (not a Wisconsin fan, but i live here and that team got more talk than any other than maybe the championship b-ball squad two years ago)

The good news is the SEC clarified that if you don't play 8 SEC games, you can't qualify for the Champ game. I think they had a big push in getting this figured out.

now Florida will have to play on the road, with a healthy Leornard Fournette. Admittedly, they should have Del Rio for that game.

Fournette, most overhyped player in the league, isn't that big of a factor. Guice does just fine in his place.

"Most overhyped player in the league" is a sentence that should not exist in the mouth of an Alabama fan. Certainly not the year after Derrick Henry won the Heisman lol.
