    Playoff picks?

I'm going with: LSU, Clemson, TCU, Notre Dame

I think the Pac-12 schools will knock each other out of the playoffs. Same for Big Ten with Mich, Mich St, and Ohio State (OSU is my favorite there but they lost so many players they could struggle in big games). TCU's schedule is favorable compared to Oklahoma's and I think Hill has a big year for them. And with ND, they barely lost to two great teams last year. I don't know why I have them as the last team in but I could see them going unbeaten with their schedule.

I know we are average at best but I can't be doom and gloom until we lose to ECU next weekend.

    Stanford, Michigan, Bama, Clemson

These are probably the safest picks to make, I'd love for a team like Houston to crash the party though.

Don't see Stanford. They have a brutal first half with KState, USC, @ UCLA, @WASH, WASH St., @ ND in the first six weeks. Can't see them coming out of that unscathed. Nevermind @ORE at the end of the year.

Stanford is starting a freshman also. Dont see them doing much. Mcaffrey being superman helps but I cant see it. Oregon beat Stanford down last year like they were poop and that was a down year for them lol they wont be garbage because Shaw is solid but not making it that far.

Oregon goes as far as Dakota Prukop takes them. Can he be another Vernon Adams savior? I dunno but Helfrich doesn't seem like he is able to recruit or get his own QBs ready so they're gonna just continue to plug grad transfers in every year? Weird.

Also their defense can't get any worse than it was under Pellum so I'm curious to see what they do under Hoke. Very interesting team but I hope they lose every game.

  11. My problem with putting a Big Ten team in is that Ohio State is only returning six starters, Michigan plays away to Mich St and Ohio St, and Mich St is starting a new QB.

    Iowa >

  13. Wisconsin, Michigan, Nebraska are probably their toughest opponents and they're all home games. So they could run the table. I don't know much about them though.

Iowa losing to NDSU in a few weeks! Probably not happening, NDSU did not look that good in their opener unfortunately. Sixth national championship in a row looks like a tall task.

I could see them beating 2/3 but am conflicted about the Michigan game, really depends if harb can put a good qb game together. Iowa pretty much returned all their key players and their qb is good enough to win games and not lose them, there's at least a decent chance.

Idk. NC State likes to show up for big conference games. Huge trap game

Wait...does this mean you think Vandy will beat SC next year?

Jden Cox (Mizzou wrestler and Olympic bronze medalist) announced he wants to play football for Mizzou next year. Could be a fun story if he can walk on to the team (played linebacker in high school)

Hahah absolutely not. I don't think I'm ever going to go into a Vandy/SC game and think Vandy will actually win, even in the off chance that they're "supposed to win" like last night!

(Backstory: I did a summer program at Vandy, got to do a little consulting project with the football team, and have family that went there, so they've always been my #2 team behind UGA. My best friend growing up is a diehard SC fan so I always talked trash with him over the Vandy/SC game knowing full well that Vandy was going to lose every time. It was always more fun than bantering over the UGA/SC game because he takes his football very seriously. We got together and watched the game at a bar last night and cheering for Vandy was as kinda-jokingly depressing as I remember it being)

Being an SC fan is depressing frequently. I always remind myself that it could be worse...I could be a Vandy fan haha

Great game last night though. Sloppy, both teams had the jitters. And I think Vandy counted their chickens before they hatched (no pun intended). Still a fun watch though.

Michigan state doesn't look great against... Furman. Still early though, I'm sure they'll beat them down.

This is about what I expected from MSU this season unfortunately. Hopes aren't too high.
