It sucks, but I'm all for players skipping meaningless bowl games if there's a chance they'll be foregoing actually getting paid in the NFL by getting injured.

 

I don't see a problem with that. It's a pointless risk. I don't care what leads to them getting paid, personally. The playoffs should be expanded and these bowls should be eliminated. It's literally just a joke at this point.

 

I'm convinced Joey Bosa got himself ejected from the Fiesta Bowl last year after seeing Jaylon Smith get injured.

I think it's nearly impossible to definitively say which conference is the best each season. There are too many factors that can't be included in all of these analytics that people spend hours studying. It's an endless argument with no resolution.

 

If coaches can fuck off and leave there team before the bowl games then players sitting out pre draft is obviously fine

 

Coaches are also allowed to jump ship in the middle of a contract but if a player wants to transfer he has to sit out a season.

I think it's awesome that these players are sitting out - hell if you're a top 5 pick you should sit out the playoff games too
