Unless he starts rubbing off on people really bad, then maybe but ill be surprised if he hasn't learned his lesson yet.

 

Danny Kanell has the most punchable face on TV.

i'm saying i doubt he stays there long enough to make it to when they would be competitive. do we really believe he'll stay longer than three years and not bolt the second he gets offered a job at a bigger school?

Since Kiffin is going to Houston, Strong seems to be locked in to USF and they're negotiating. If he doesn't win with that team he might never be hc again.

I know this is largely coach speak but looking Bama's schedule....I think he might actually be right. I guess Ole Miss threw some points up on them but yeah....

 

Wasn't our offense the best Bama faced up to this point? We only scored ten.

 

Well and I think a lot of the truth there came out in the wash.

UW finished 11th in total offense/4th in scoring offense.

Tenn finished 54th in total offense/26th in scoring offense.

With that, Alabama probably throws a plastic bag over our heads and suffocates us regardless of how good our offense has been most of the year.

So I guess they stopped negotiating once they found out lane didn't take Houston, which means he's no.1 on their list and are gonna go after him. If not yea, lsu.

Why would Lane leave Bama for LSU for the same position?

 

Cause saban treats him like a 5 yr old

 

plus, there's still some stigma that bama would win regardless of the coordinator, which history shows is kinda true. i think lane is a pretty fantastic playcaller, but if he can go to LSU and right that ship so to speak, he'll show that it's not necessarily him just being a product of saban's success like, say, kirby or whatever

 

He's close friends with Ed Orgeron, they'd pay him damn near twice what he's getting paid now, and he'd have a better opportunity to prove himself worthy of a head coaching position.

I'm happy that Jeff Tedford is at Fresno State, but I really wish Lane would've come back.

The only reason I remember tedford is because he got a big contract from the bucs and then bolted on them lol I know he's supposed to be a big deal cause of his offense in the Pac 12 but nothing else
