If Rhule took, say, North Carolina over Oregon I would totally get it

Yea, the south has the most recruits by far. There's definitely reasons for that, sad reasons. Sometimes guys want to go somewhere new or out west but they usually stay in the south unless its a major power like Michigan or osu at least. Recruiting is weird.

Overall its going to take awhile to rebuild Baylor as opposed to Oregon so I'm assuming they're very patient in Waco.

The state of Oregon has TWO 4-star players in the 2017 class, both are committed to Washington.

More teams to compete with for sure but the depth of talent down south blows out what is up in the PNW. I think he would have done fine if he came to Oregon but I understand why he chose Baylor over Oregon.

I'm sure not having Phil Knight with his head up your ass everywhere you go is a nice feeling, too.

 

He's gonna have to compete with Herman and sumlin but it's still a larger pot to stir.

I'm sure there is contact rules that would need to be obeyed but I think Alabama brought back Trent Richardson to work on their scout team a month back or so....I'm sure it would be to an extent.

It does, hes worked as stanfords rb coach for a few years. Rhule worked at UCLA for a year and that's it. Not saying its huge but its a little more. Youre picking at straws here regardless unless some major development happens.

 

two years total haha. idk why he didn't stay a year or two more and make a run for the tennessee or kentucky jobs. or florida/fsu when mac/jimbo leave.

 

Tbh I was just getting interested in college football around that time so I'm not sure. I also read today that if he leaves they'll go hard for lane kiffin, I chuckled.

He wouldn't reject a power five job to stay at USF... I don't think he's interviewed for any other job though. There's a chance his team could regress but I don't think they will. Fleck is probably staying at w.mich as well. Who the hell knows anymore lol

The reason fleck isnt being considered for any of the bigger jobs is because hes apparently "not a big xs and os guy and hes still really young" I'm not expert but that's interesting for sure. Plus he plays in the MAC conference of course.
