    I've seen 6 and give 1&2 byes.

That'd be Clemson-Michigan and Washington-PSU as quarterfinals. Fun games.

Oklahoma odd man out? Or Michigan be left out for a conference champion.

    Oklahoma state? ;-)

you missed my point. Herbstreit made it sound like OSU played this great OOC schedule and then mentioned 3 bad teams, 2 of which OSU played this year lol. he could have mentioned like any of 30+ other teams. just poking fun, remove that wedgie of yours

right, i've seen it, but it doesn't make feasible sense in terms of team selection. with eight teams, you get the P5 champs, you get a Go5 team, and you get two at-large bids, so OSU and Michigan this year. with six, you get, what, the p5 champs, and two at large's? an at large and a Go5 winner? you'd have people clamoring for expansion three years after you move to six anyways.

Well, whatever. This season still went way better for Wisconsin than expected. They'll always beat the teams they should beat, and they're just not on that next level yet. I have hope they'll improve each year under Chryst.

I know it won't happen but why in the hell is Clemson being considered as 100% automatically in.

Their best win is against #12 Florida State (won by three points) AND they lost to #25 Pittsburgh.

UW's best win is against #9 Colorado in the Pac-12 Championship and they won by 31. They did lose to #11 USC.

Penn State's best win is against #2 Ohio State and they just won the B1G Championship. What hurts them is they were boatraced by Michigan.

If people are arguing the last spot between Penn State and Washington then why the fuck is Clemson not in that discussion as well?

  6. Well i didn't think they'd beat LSU or win at MSU pre-dumpster fire

The good news is that a lot of those guys on D are young so they'll continue to be good there and Shaw should take the offense to an even higher level

Basically they'll win the Big Ten West again and lose by 7 in the big ten title game

OSU will be 4. You can't say "it was between OSU and PSU for the final spot" and then make them hop clemson and washington, who weren't in contention of being excluded. cmon.

Okay so it ends up semi as we all thought in my opinion ..it comes down to OSU and PSU

PSU is going to the rose bowl

Well what is crazy is despite Jake Browning looking like he should be the quarterback at an FCS school last night and the team STILL won by 31....that defense can play with anybody. Offense too if it's clicking but that's gonna be tough against teams with legit Ds.

Plus they'll rebuild the O-line that Andersen tried his best to fuck up

I would understand that if it was every few years but I dunno....it's whatever.

Even against Bama I think they could put up points if they're ready to play.

I have family from the region and the loathe Penn St so I might be assuming it exists more than it actually does. Maybe it used to be one in older conferences.

Well apparently Jake Browning has had a history of a "tired arm" dating back to high school so I think that would explain how he's been off the last few weeks a decent amount.

Wonder if almost a month of no games will help with that? If his arm is good, then I give them a shot against anybody (albeit minimal against Bama).

Take arms, it'll all blow over Prestigious

Rank weighting. Inteactability due to them being so high up for most of the season.

Well as a Philadelphia sports fan, I know Philadelphia/Pitt hates each other and with State College in the middle, it makes some sense. It's just odd to me to call it a rivalry if they only play every fifteen years.

i think the chryst kool-aid is wearing off :(

he isn't a very good recruiter and his schemes, while unique at first, are incredibly easy to tear apart once you figure them out.

i'd like to see him try to bring a bigger OC in. rudolph isn't the answer. and try to persuade wilcox to stick around.

A potential USC vs Penn State Rose Bowl would be an interesting and good game. Two very hot teams.

chryst not even thinking about putting hornibrook, who was cleared to play, in during the second half with houston floundering was a fucking disaster

Weird. He looked pretty good the one half of the Wazzu game that I saw. But yeah, if it is that then I'd bet a month off would do him lots of good.

Gotta wonder how that affects his NFL prospects

Twitter is fuckin my head up....pretty sure we're gonna get a Washington-Michigan Rose Bowl....

That'd be some bullshit but would still be a hell of a game.

I don't think he projects well to the NFL at all....he's very Kellen Moore-ish, who I guess has carved out a nice role as a clipboard guy. Browning just lacks arm strength. He's almost incapable of hitting a fast WR in stride (i.e. John Ross). Most of his deep throws this year float.

there is, like, no chance of that happening lol.

of what? If UW is left out of the CFP, they're in the Rose Bowl. If tOSU/PSU get in to the playoff, I see no reason they wouldn't take Michigan before Wisconsin to the Rose.
