Brian Kelly, Chip Kelly, same thing right?

 

It's better for the Pac when both UW/Oregon are good. I enjoyed throwing 70 up on the scoreboard in Eugene after a long twelve years but would certainly prefer it if both come back to power and get a rivalry that actually has some implications for not just one team but both so low key rooting for a good hire.

edit: Umm...not sure Brian Kelly would be it though lol. I feel like the homerun hire for Oregon would be Beau Baldwin.

 

Every time I see someone write UW I get confused because I think they're talking about Wisconsin.

 

Please not Brian Kelly. Please don't make me hate my team. I know he wins everywhere (only 2 losing seasons in 20+ seasons across at least four schools) but he's a terrible asshole of a human and doesn't fit in the PNW.

Where do you live? In the Midwest?

I wonder if people in the PNW first think of Oregon State with OSU (probably not since no thinks of Oregon State - zing!) and each coast thinks USC means them and not the other team.

Wisconsin :) So used to people referring to University of Wisconsin around here as UW.

 

USC in the south is still the Trojans. Usually see USCjr or SCar

 

I would like boot Clay Travis out of a helicopter basically on everyday that ends with a "y" but his idea as far as an eight team playoff is pretty damn sweet.

-No conference championships
-Regular season conference champ gets automatic bid from each of the P5 conferences
-Three at-large bids (which I assume would be committee decided??)
-Top seeds host games.

In his scenario, you'd then be looking at matchups of....

Oklahoma @ Alabama
Penn State @ Ohio State
Wisconsin @ Clemson
Michigan @ Washington

Going to the MAC championship Friday. Both parents went to Western Michigan, and my brother is there now. My uncle and several cousins went to Ohio. I know it's low stakes but I've had a ton of fun watching Western this year and I really like Fleck, Zach Terrell, Corey Davis, and Jarvion Franklin. Looking forward to it.

I'd love that. I like Taggart, like Oregon, and fuck USF.

 

The Oregon 247 board is convinced its Chip Kelly coming back and literally anything else is unacceptable so it's fun to watch that board melt anytime someone other than Chip Kelly is mentioned....particularly if it's Greg Schiano.

 

Willie taggart is realllly good, they've been expecting him to leave anytime. Remember colleges also must comply with the Rooney rule though so it could be that also. I still imagine it's a bigger name, idk.

 

I like that. College football needs a completely new system. I'm moving today and tomorrow. When things settle down I'll post whatever ideas I come up with.

I really think its fleck, who the hell knows though. Canzano (who's awful) just said to cross out a bunch of guys and he wasn't on the list. He compared harsin to rc cola, only good part of the article.

There is something going around on the Duck boards that the Temple recruiting coordinator just started following all of the Ducks 2017 commits in the last few hours. Apparently the guy played FB at Rutgers for you guessed it....Schiano.
